Guangping Du, Professor of Engineering, Chief Engineer of China General Certification Center, Senior Advisor of Chinese Wind Energy Association, Alternate Member of IEA Wind Executive Committee, Standing Director of the IEEE PES (China) Offshore Wind Power Equipment Technical Subcommittee, Advisor of the National Technical Committee 50 on Wind Energy Generation System of Standardization Administration of China, Member of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Subcommittee of the National Energy Foundation and Management Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC20/SC6), Member of the National Energy Technical Committee for Standardization of Wind Power Generation, Deputy Director of the Wind Resistance and Disaster Reduction and Wind Energy Utilization Committee of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, Advisor of the New Energy Intelligent Power Generation and Equipment Management Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. Having been engaged in the fields of wind turbine R&D, design and manufacturing, testing and certification, feasibility study of wind power generation projects, standard formulation, technical consultation, industrial policy and evaluation system study, as well as international wind technology cooperation research for over 30 years. Successively completed more than 10 international cooperation research projects and national key R&D projects, and over 20 national and industry standards on wind power generation. Published a number of works, and more than 30 papers related to wind power generation.
